The parties discussed the safety and security situation in the region, the issue of the construction of additional protective structures in the satellite town of the Khmelnytsky NPP, and the coordination of measures to provide assistance to the defenders of Ukraine.
Petro Kotin and Hryhorii Olendra agreed to strengthen the defense of the nuclear facility, the town and increase the safety and security of its citizens.
In confirmation of the mentioned intentions, a memorandum was signed.
“Today, ensuring the operation of the critical infrastructure facility - the Khmelnytsky NPP, the safety and security of the plant personnel, the citizens of the town of Netishyn and the settlements adjacent to the nuclear power plant - is the most important task for each of us,” Petro Kotin said.
