Starting in 2023, Energoatom has been increasing electricity generation at its NPPs located in the territory controlled by Ukraine.
For 2023, the Company generated 4.8 billion kWh more than the previous year.
"Realizing that the ruscist shelling of Ukraine's energy system has caused great damage to it, Energoatom spared no effort, lent a shoulder to the country, and prevented Ukrainians from plunging into cold and darkness," said CEO of NNEGC Petro Kotin.
In 2024, Energoatom has plans to generate an additional 1.2 billion kWh year-on-year. Over the first two months of this year, the plan has been surpassed.
