The fleet of special equipment that will be involved in the completion of power units is being replenished at the KhNPP
Two mobile cranes have arrived at the Khmelnytskyi NPP to carry out works on the completion of Units 3 and 4, in accordance with the government program on expansion of nuclear facilities.
The first Zoomlion mobile crane has a load capacity of 25 tons and a maximum lifting height of 40.5 meters. It will be used to dismantle temporary structures on power units.
Another one is the KKП-10.0-60.0-60.0-A5 tower crane. It was developed and manufactured by national specialists in 2024 in the shortest possible time and delivered to the site of the Khmelnytskyi NPP within a week.
The equipment will be involved in the lifting of concrete plates, heavy elements of the floor. The crane has already been installed; adjustment and pre-commissioning operations are being carried out. Its maximum load is 10 tons, and the lifting height is 58 meters.
We remind you that Energoatom specialists are actively working on preparation for the completion of Units 3 and 4 at the Khmelnytskyi NPP. Currently, repair and restoration activities are ongoing at the plant site.
