Acting CEO of JSC "NNEGC "Energoatom" Petro Kotin reports on the Company's achievements in 2023 and ambitious plans
The year 2023 has become an epoch-making year for the Ukrainian nuclear industry, a year of decisive actions and breakthrough results.
The leadership and social responsibility of Energoatom, the dynamic development of the Company enables the state to keep the lowest residential electricity tariffs in Europe – about 7 euro cents for one kWh, supporting our citizens during the war.
Such an opportunity was provided by the rapid and unprecedented growth of the Company's revenues.
During 2020 – 2023, they increased fourfold while in 2023 – by 30%.
Moreover, the Energoatom team managed to do this even without the non-operational temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP.
The nuclear and radiation safety of nuclear facilities located on the territory controlled by Ukraine is ensured at a high level.
