Results of the meeting of the Coordination Headquarters at the KhNPP: restoration work is on schedule, more and more people are involved
During the meeting, the reports of the responsible executors were heard and a number of issues were considered, in particular:
- fulfillment of assigned tasks in accordance with the approved schedule;
- development of design and license documentation;
- establishment of new organizational structures for construction management;
- need to attract new personnel to work on the construction of power units;
- enabling appropriate conditions for employees.
“Currently, activities on the arrangement of the reactor compartment are being completed, and active works are underway in the control room. In fact, we are working according to our schedule, and we will be ready for the installation of equipment on Unit 3 already in June of this year,” Petro Kotin emphasized.
Besides, the first modular houses provided by the Swedish government have already arrived for specialists who are involved in restoration works at the KhNPP units. These fully furnished and comfortable houses will be installed in a specially designated area in the nearest future.
