One of the priorities of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” is to ensure compliance with the current legislation; in particular, the Company has a zero-tolerance policy for corruption. This applies not only to the Company's internal issues but also to the behavior of employees outside of their official activities.
Due to the coordinated work of law enforcement agencies and the active participation of Energoatom representatives, one of the Company's employees was detained while obtaining an unlawful benefit.
The detainee assisted in resolving the issue in another company through his connections and acted as an intermediary between the contractor and the other company.
Investigative activities are currently underway. Energoatom will continue to assist crime investigators in conducting an impartial investigation as quickly as possible.
