During the meeting, the parties discussed challenges in the Ukrainian energy sector in the context of russian aggression. A separate issue was the technical assistance for Rivne NPP, provided on behalf of the Government and the Norwegian Regulatory Authority (DSA).
The project procured the necessary equipment, in particular for monitoring the heat exchange tubes of steam generators, and implemented software that is a critical tool for performing the necessary calculations to support safety analysis and risk monitoring.
“We are grateful to the Government and the Norwegian regulatory authority for the crucial and timely technical assistance to Energoatom and look forward to continued cooperation,” said Energoatom CEO Petro Kotin.
