A regular meeting of Command Centre on completion of Khmelnytskyy NPP unit 3 was held
President of SE "NNEGC "Energoatom" Petro Kotin together with Khmelnytskyy NPP Director General Andrii Kozyura monitored the progress of design, maintenance and restoration works at KhNPP power unit 3 following which a regular meeting of Command Centre on its completion was held.
While stressing that further work on the construction site will require more and more staff, Petro Kotin emphasized: "Fortunately, we have enough skilled personnel, in particular, those our nuclear power professionals who worked at the ZNPP before the invasion, but were forced to move out."
He thanked "nuclear workers for working in such challenging conditions, because despite the war and many hardships, they are doing their utmost for the development of modern and safe nuclear generation." But now, Energoatom CEO highlighted, "it is crucial to gather strength and work according to the schedules."
As a reminder, the construction of new power units is an important part of the Energy Strategy of Ukraine until 2050, given achieving the set goals is possible due to the development of modern and safe nuclear generation.
