On April 26, 2024, Water-Chemical Laboratory of the Khmelnytsky NPP received a accreditation certificate from the State Medical Service. The certificate confirms the right to control the quality and safety of medical oxygen produced by the KhNPP.
In April, a representative of the State Medical Service inspected Water-Chemical Laboratory of Chemical Department. The inspection of the laboratory was conducted due to the need to update the accreditation certificate received in 2021 for the possibility of producing medical oxygen. Energoatom implemented the social project for medical facilities during the COVID-19 epidemic.
In order to obtain the certificate, the basic documents were checked, in particular the Water-Chemical Laboratory Regulations, laboratory passport and quality manual, the availability of the instrument fleet and the personnel qualifications. Licensing Department, Quality Assurance Department and Reactor Department were also involved in the inspection under the leadership of Oleksandr Hodnev, Deputy Director General for Quality and Management.
According to the results of the inspection and based on the reporting document, Water-Chemical Laboratory of Chemical Department of the Branch “SE “Khmelnytsky NPP” received an accreditation certificate and has the right to control the quality of medical oxygen to save lives.
