The connection between Zaporizhia NPP and IAEA is restored due to the efforts of Energoatom
The IAEA lost the remote connection to its safeguards surveillance systems installed at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant to monitor nuclear material due to the cutting off by the occupiers in Enerhodar all Ukrainian mobile operators, including Vodafone, with which the Agency has a contract for data transmission.
Despite the fact that the cellular networks of domestic operators are still down, Energoatom has restored the connection between the ZNPP and the IAEA. All mandatory monitoring data are transmitted, and the Agency has confirmed its receipt.
